Trevinos is a dedicated record fair at Houghton, serving as a central hub for record collectors, festival-goers, performing artists and producers to connect, dig for records and celebrate vinyl culture.
The fair is a tribute to Marcus Intalex, a pioneering UK drum and bass DJ, producer, and label owner known for his deep musical knowledge and dedication to pushing the scene forward. A mentor to many, he played a crucial role in bridging the worlds of drum and bass, techno, and house. Later in his career, under the aliasTrevino, he explored house and techno, releasing music on labels such as Klockworks and The Nothing Special. Though Marcus sadly passed away in 2017, his influence continues to shape the electronic music landscape, inspiring countless artists and fans.
Since 2018,Trevinos has brought together some of the UK’s finest record stores and vinyl traders, offering a carefully curated selection of new and used records. Each trader is equipped with a listening station allowing festival-goers to preview records before purchasing. A central turntable in the yurt enables traders to play records from their stock, creating an immersive and inviting atmosphere.
Trevinos enriches the Houghton experience, offering a unique and vibrant space for music discovery, artistic appreciation, and social connection—bringing together passionate record collectors and music lovers to celebrate the enduring power of vinyl.

INVERTED AUDIO RECORD STORE
Inverted Audio Record Store grew out of one of the UK's most respected underground electronic music platforms. Based in Peckham, South London, the shop carries a hand-picked selection of new and used vinyl spanning techno, dub techno, ambient, deep house and experimental. Founder Tom Durston brings fifteen-plus years of editorial knowledge to every crate.
THE VINYL CURTAIN
The Vinyl Curtain is the Brighton record shop of Billy Nasty — UK techno pioneer, acid house original, founder of influential labels Tortured and Electrix, and a vinyl devotee with nearly four decades of collecting and thirty years behind the decks. Expect a discerning selection shaped by a lifetime inside underground electronic music.
SHAKE THE FOUNDATIONS
Shake the Foundations is the record operation of Graham Sherman — selector, collector and keeper of some serious provenance. Stock has come from the collections of artists including Andrew Weatherall, Richard Norris and Sean Johnston, as well as Sherman's own collection built during his years editing the dance sections at NME and Melody Maker.
ALL MY FRIENDS
All My Friends is the Hackney Wick bar and record shop born from the team behind legendary Tottenham nightclub The Cause. Named after the LCD Soundsystem track, the venue puts music literally at its centre — with a record store stocking new and used vinyl alongside regular DJ sessions spanning house, techno and jungle.
DISK FRISK
Bristol-based Disk Frisk is a strictly secondhand record shop founded by Corey Miller, rooted in the city's DIY culture and built for diggers and collectors alike. Focusing on dance music oddities from the late 70s to the early 2000s, the emphasis is always on the obscure, the overlooked and the unexpected.
OUT OF JOINT RECORDS
Founded in 2018 by childhood friends Ben, Coops and Dan, Out of Joint Records is Leicester's specialist in experimental electronic dance music, dub, reggae and leftfield sounds. Based in Silver Arcade, the store also carries clothing, zines, cassettes and releases on their own Grade 10 label.
EASTERN BLOC RECORDS
Established in Manchester in 1985, Eastern Bloc Records is one of the UK's most iconic independent record shops. A cornerstone of underground electronic music for four decades, the store spans house, techno, jungle, dub, hip-hop, jazz, afro and latin. Coming to Trevinos carries a special significance — Marcus Intalex worked here for many years.
TEMPLE OF VINYL
Brighton-based Temple of Vinyl is run by Alex Downey — record dealer, DJ and Trevinos fixture since the earliest editions. Specialising in rare, deleted and hard-to-find electronic music across house, techno, ambient, dub, jungle, EBM and beyond, Alex brings more than three decades of underground knowledge and an exceptional eye for quality vinyl.
