This page (together with the documents referred to on it) helps you understand  the effect of purchasing tickets  from www.residentadvisor.net for Houghton Festival. Please read this Policy carefully before ordering any tickets. Making a purchase from Resident Advisor for Houghton Festival (“the Festival”) indicates that you accept its terms and conditions and this note is to be read in conjunction with Resident Adviser’s standard terms and conditions. Although in a case of conflict between these terms and Resident Advisors specific ticketing terms and conditions these terms take precedent your contractual relationship is at all time s with Resident Adviser:

Please check your e-Tickets immediately when you receive them as mistakes cannot always be rectified. All ticket queries are handled by Resident Advisor and you can make contact with them here. Once your booking is completed you will not be able to cancel your tickets. Administration / booking fees cannot be refunded

Resident Adviser will not issue duplicate tickets for lost or stolen tickets. Resident Adviser is not responsible or liable for any tickets which are lost or stolen.

Resident Adviser  reserves the right to cancel ticket bookings which it reasonably suspects to have been made fraudulently.

Tickets are resold entirely at the risk of the original and new bearers, Resident Adviser accepts no responsibility for problems arising from third party transactions.

You must be in possession of a valid e-Ticket to enter the event.

Weekend tickets include camping, car parking and access to the festival site.

The Festival is a strictly aged 18+ event. There will be strictly no entry to those who are under the age of 18. Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer refunds to those refused entry on the day. Please ensure you have valid ID on you at all times whilst at the Festival.

It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to ascertain whether an event has been cancelled and the date and time of any rearranged event. If an event is cancelled or rescheduled, the Festival  will use all reasonable endeavours to notify ticket holders of the cancellation. Please note that the Festival  cannot guarantee that ticket holders will be informed of such cancellation before the date of the event.

Tickets are transferable for a wristband on arrival at the festival site, and there will be no automatic right of re-admission during the Festival should the wristband become lost or damaged.

We reserve the right to refuse admission to the Festival. For your safety random body searches will be conducted on admission. It is a condition of entry to the Festival that you will submit to any reasonable search request.

You will not be permitted entry to the Festival whilst in the possession of the following prohibited items: any professional audio, audio-visual, film, or video recording equipment, items that may be used in a dangerous or threatening manner, alcoholic drinks, cans, glass bottles, foodstuffs, walkie talkies, personal speakers

Illegal substances are strictly prohibited at the Festival. Any person found in possession of such substances will be denied entry and / or removed from the Festival, and Police will be called to attend.

The performers, advertised attractions, festival site, and site location are subject to change, and no refunds or exchange tickets will be offered if any of these change prior to the festival date.

Unauthorised photography or audio/video recording of any performance at the Festival is strictly prohibited. Persons attending the Festival may be filmed, photographed or recorded as part of the audience. This media is owned by the Festival and may be used for any promotional material. By attending the event you give permission to the Festival to use this media.

You must comply with all relevant laws, safety announcements and venue regulations whilst attending the event.  Breach of any of these conditions or any unacceptable behaviour could result in your removal  from the venue.

There is no  liability for any damages or loss or injuries sustained at the Festival, including loss or damage to property, howsoever caused – including damage and losses to property and motor vehicles, howsoever caused save where there has been proven negligence on the part of the Festival .

In a stand against ticketing touting any tickets exchanged or sold without prior consent from the Festival or Resident Advisor will not be valid on entry, we only accept original tickets from the original purchaser and tickets will be validated against the purchasers ID on entry. If you would like to transfer your ticket to a third party please contact ticketsupport@residentadvisor.co.uk who can arrange for the transfer to be validated and executed.

Tickets are sold on the understanding that the event is subject to licence from the appropriate authorities. Refunds will be given should the event be cancelled subject to deduction of any booking fee.
