Houghton Hall, King’s Lynn, Norfolk, PE31 6UE
Houghton Hall is located half a mile off the A148 King’s Lynn to Fakenham road, approximately 13 miles from East of King’s Lynn and 10 miles West of Fakenham. Brown Tourist Signs indicate the turning off the A148. The road takes you through New Houghton, the main gates to the Hall are straight ahead, from here please follow festival access signage. Please respect the local villages when travelling to and from the event – no littering, loud music or careless driving.

The nearest train station is Kings Lynn and it takes approximately 90 mins from London (Direct from Kings Cross).There will be numerous taxi’s on hand to transport you from the train station to the site.
There will be numerous taxis available at Kings Lynn train station, there will be a queuing rank in place where you can wait for a taxi, it is unlikely that drivers will be taking bookings. You will dropped at the main ticket gate and there will be an onsite taxi rank for departure.

Box Office & Access Times
There are separate box offices and car parks for both Boutique and General Public camping. You will be directed on arrival to site towards the correct car park dependant on where you are staying. If you have passengers in vehicles staying at different campsites do not worry, you will be able to drop off at either car park before parking.

Day tickets are not available and as such all tickets include camping, car parking and access to the festival site from Thursday 10th August 2017.
Houghton is a strictly aged 18+ event. We operate a challenge 25 policy and all those who appear under the age of 25 will be asked to provide evidence of their age by a valid photographic ID (UK Driving License, PASS 18+ Card or Passport).
There will be strictly no entry to those who are under the age of 18. Unfortunately we will not be able to offer refunds to those refused entry on the day.
Access to the public campsite is included in the ticket price. Boutique camping options are available to purchase form the Accommodation page. Campsites include toilets and showers and also access to premium LooWatt facilities, wristbands for these can be purchased at the event.
Re-entry is permitted to the event however, you will be searched on re-entry and your personal alcohol allowance is only allowed on your first entry.
Access to car parks is included in the ticket price. You will be directed to the correct car park on arrival to site depending on where you are camping.
The camper van/live in vehicle field is adjacent to the main campsite. Pitches do not include power or water. All vehicles will be searched on entry. There will be no cars permitted in the camper van field unless towing a caravan. If you wish to attend in a camper van/live in vehicle please purchase a pass on the ticket page, please note that passes are purchased per vehicle not per attendee and are only valid when presented with a valid festival ticket.
Set Times / Programming
Houghton has been curated with a vision for long sets, sun rises, sunsets and an eclectic selection of music at the forefront of our minds. We are looking to take attendees on a journey across the weekend and billing and stage times will be revealed on arrival.
A limited quantity of personal alcohol is permitted in the campsite however, personal alcohol will not be permitted in the main site.
On first entry to the site only, each person is permitted to bring in up to 8 beers/ciders or 1 bottle of wine (decanted into a plastic container – no glass permitted on site), no personal spirits will be allowed on site. All excess, or non-compliant alcohol will be confiscated at the ticket gate.
We have selected a wide variety of the finest food from around the country, as well as locally sourced specialties. There will be numerous food outlets situated around the site. You will be allowed to bring you own food onto site however, please note that no personal fires, stoves or cooking devices will be allowed onto site.
The following items are not permitted on site and will be confiscated at the main gate:
Glass – no glass is allowed anywhere onsite for safety and environmental reasons
Nitrous oxide and/or whippers
Portable laser equipment and pens
Unauthorised professional film or video equipment
Marker and paint pens
Chinese or sky lanterns
Any item which may reasonably be considered for use as a weapon
Animals (other than registered guide or hearing dogs)
Sound systems, portable or otherwise
Unofficial tabards or reflective jackets
Unauthorised items for trading, including any goods using unauthorised event logos
Excessive amounts of food and cigarettes may be refused entry to the site

Volunteer applications for Houghton are now open and are being handled by Greenbox Events (Site Roles) and Team Love (Stewarding Roles), there are limited places with both companies so please apply in a timely fashion.

Houghton does not condone the use or possession of illegal substances. All individuals including staff, crew and artists will be searched on entry, refusal to a search will result in ejection from the site – all individuals found in possessions of illegal substances will be ejected from the festival and handed over to the police.
