Box Office, Access Times and Hours Of Music

There are separate box offices and car parks for both Boutique and General Public camping. You will be directed on arrival at the festival towards the correct car park, dependant on where you are camping. If you have passengers in vehicles staying at different campsites do not worry, you will be able to drop off at either car park before parking.

On Thursday 9th August, we will open at 2pm with access to the camping areas only. Then from 5pm gates to the festival itself will open.

The box office will open from 9am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the accreditation of new arrivals. Please note that we close accreditation at midnight on Thursday and Friday, and at 10pm on Saturday and Sunday.

If you are staying off site and have a wristband, then the gates are open throughout the night.

Music begins at 5pm on Thursday. Music will stop in the early hours of Monday 13th August.

The camp site will close at 1pm on Monday 13th August.

Ticket Information

All ticketing is managed by Resident Advisor – should you have any queries please get in touch at ticketsupport@residentadvisor.net

All tickets for Houghton Festival 2018 are now sold out. No more tickets will be released.

In a stand against the secondary ticket market and ticket touting at extortionate ticket prices, as well as major entry issues due to the risk of duplicate/unofficial tickets, Houghton Festival does not support tickets from 3rd party reseller platforms including ViaGoGo, SeatWave and Ticket Swap.

We work exclusively with our official ticket partner Resident Advisor to provide a fair and authorised method of reselling tickets. This system allows a ticket purchase for the face value of the original sale. Keep visiting our Resident Advisor ticket page as tickets that are resold by previous purchasers will immediately become available.

All ticket holders will require the original buyer, or the original buyer’s ID (a photocopy of a driving license or passport), to be present at the gate at the time of entry into the festival. The validity of tickets purchased from unapproved 3rd party sites cannot be guaranteed, and the purchase is entirely at your own risk.

If you have a spare ticket, do the right thing.

Day tickets are not available and as such all tickets include camping and access to the festival site from Thursday 9th August 2018.

Age Restrictions

Houghton is a strictly aged 18+ event. We operate a challenge 25 policy and all those who appear under the age of 25 will be asked to provide evidence of their age by a valid photographic ID (UK Driving License, PASS 18+ Card or Passport).

There will be strictly no entry to those who are under the age of 18. Unfortunately we will not be able to offer refunds to those refused entry on the day.
